It seems that there is nothing original anymore, and box office revenue are the only motivation in Hollywood. How many more classics will they desecrate? Does anyone prefer the remake over the original? What’s next 8 1/2 and Citizen Kane?

How many Hitchcock remakes need to be done before Hollywood comes to the realization that no one will ever outdo the master? With the exception of Hitch remaking his own The Man Who Knew Too Much all these remakes are only futile attempts at suspense. I wouldn’t be surprised if they remade Vertigo starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

This blog makes me depressed, or at least when i read down to the movie remakes and saw what horrors are to come… I think we need to boycot these films especially “creature from the black lagoon”! thats was a fav as a 5 year old.
Also i believe Dial M For Murder was remade as “The Perfect Murder”, i could be wrong… and Rear Window was too i think but under a diff. title.
I watched Marnie today, its good but not one of my fav’s.
Well this blog is upsetting so im going to go jump off a building… whho on earth would want to remake sunset blvd.
